What enrolling at Royal Avenue looks like
Royal Avenue is our newest licensed centre: purpose-built rooms for infants and toddlers and an optional LunchLady meal plan. The same play-based approach as our other three centres.
Getting here
The centre sits at Royal Avenue and 10th Street, in Brow of the Hill. New Westminster SkyTrain is a short walk downhill; Columbia Station is a few minutes further along the Expo Line. Families come from Uptown, Downtown, Queen's Park, Sapperton and Queensborough, as well as the Burnaby side of the border.
What's included in the published fee
The monthly tuition we publish already has the BC Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative applied. There is no separate rebate to claim. That fee covers licensed full-day care from 7:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, in infant and toddler rooms staffed at one educator to four children.
The optional LunchLady plan is extra. It covers snacks and lunch so you do not pack food or contribute monthly items. If you skip it, the rest of the day is unchanged.
Rooms and ratio
Royal Avenue is licensed for infants and toddlers, from six months to three years. Rooms are purpose-built for that age: floor time, a nap room, and a play space that can handle crawlers and walkers in the same group. Fraser Health sets the ratio at one educator to four children, which is the smallest group we run.

Tours are only scheduled when we have an opening. We are unable to accommodate drop-in tours, and we do not allow access to the centre without a prior appointment.

A tour does not guarantee a spot in our centre.

We receive a large number of applications and can't follow up on each one individually unless it matches a current opening. We'll reach out when a spot becomes available and explain how to book a tour.

Set the start date to the earliest date you'd enrol your child. If you select April and a spot opens in March, you won't appear as an available applicant in our system.
